  Food is well presented and on the whole well made. The scampi and chunky chips are perfectly made, fluffy white potato on the inside with a crispy outer shell. Scampi again juicy with great bite from the outer coating. Unfortunately the chicken and leek pie didn’t live up to those standards. The pastry was soft with no bite to it and the was missing that earthy, hearty/pubfood grub you’re looking for. But the mash potatoes it was served with was fantastic, I’m just not to sure you should place the pie on top of it. Overall 3 stars for the review.
